An entire evening each with Mozart, Beethoven, Puccini, love, and two great pianists: Bartók and Brahms. This is what the Filharmonia Hungary’s Szeged Tisza season ticket offers in the 2025/2026 season.
At the first concert, Mozart’s expert interpreters - the Purcell Choir, the Orfeo Orchestra, György Vashegyi, and Márton Egri - will visit Szeged. Then, the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra from Switzerland, conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy, will take us further into Beethoven’s world. Thanks to the Szeged Symphony Orchestra, Kinga Kriszta, and Adorján Pataki, we will also immerse ourselves in Puccini’s most beautiful melodies under the baton of Ádám Cser. After that, the Danubia Orchestra, István Horváth, and Máté Hámori will gather the most famous love music in music history into one single evening. Finally, Bartók and Brahms will speak through the instruments of Concerto Budapest, revealing that the thinking of the two composers might not have been as opposed as one might first assume.
Great company gathers on these evenings! We look forward to welcoming you too!
