Hungary currently offers no formal degree programs in early music performance. Musicians who wish to master historical instruments must seek private instruction and often attend masterclasses. These programs allow already experienced musicians to study pre-selected pieces in depth over just a few focused days. Curious about the results? This vibrant chamber concert features the works studied and refined throughout the masterclasses.
(And just between us: the masterclasses are open to the public throughout the week—so if you're interested not just in the results but in the process itself, you're welcome to observe the musical workshops in action!)
